The fact that heart problems are a common issue in India is well known. Congenital Heart Disease is a specific heart condition which refers to a problem in the heart's structure and functions due to an abnormal heart development before birth. The Yuvajana Sakhyam decided to do what was possible in our capacity with the overarching hand of the almighty over us and thus the initiative of 'Save a Heart Save a Child' was born. It is added up as a Silver Jubilee Project. Youths visited homes of parish families on designated dates for collection of used newspapers and books and the money raised is directed in to the 'Save a Heart Save a Child' fund.
