Harvest Festival

A celebration of thanksgiving, generosity and the blessings of God

The Harvest Festival is a special opportunity for our parish family to gather in gratitude for God's faithful provision. It reminds us that every good gift comes from the Lord and invites us to share our blessings with others in a spirit of joy, stewardship and service.

Giving Thanks for Every Blessing

β€œThe earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, has blessed us.” β€” Psalm 67:6

Harvest thanksgiving is a time to acknowledge God's goodness in the fruits of the earth, the work of our hands, our families and our community. As we offer our gratitude, we are reminded that the blessings entrusted to us are also an invitation to care for one another.

The Spirit of the Harvest Festival

Rooted in Christian thanksgiving, the festival brings together worship, fellowship and a commitment to generous living. It is an occasion to celebrate the gifts and talents within our parish and to reflect on how they can be used for the good of others.

  • Thanksgiving: Giving praise to God for His providence and faithfulness.
  • Stewardship: Recognising our responsibility to use resources wisely and compassionately.
  • Fellowship: Strengthening relationships across generations in our church family.
  • Sharing: Remembering those in need and expressing our faith through acts of kindness.

A Celebration for the Whole Parish

Harvest celebrations can include thanksgiving worship, contributions from parish families and opportunities for fellowship. The specific programme for this year's celebration will be shared after it has been finalised.

Whether through prayer, participation or an act of generosity, every member of the parish family has a part in the spirit of thanksgiving.

Join Us in Thanksgiving
